4 Clarks Yard - Guestbook

Stayed here for 2 weeks. Lovely cottage with mixture of rustic charm and modern amenities. Well equipped with everything you would need. Outside area to sit out is a big bonus with the lovely sunny weather of June.
Location is perfect. Quiet old street but down short, sheltered alleyway straight on to the hustle and bustle of everything you could want in Whitby - pubs, restaurants, shops and cafes on the doorstep and then short walk to all the charm of this old seaside town. Beautiful evening sunsets over the harbour.
David and Alison couldn't be more helpful. Would recommend this property to anyone and look forward to staying again.

David B,

We have just spent another week in Clarks Yard our 5th or 6th visit and found it as welcoming as our other stays. The cottage was warm, clean, comfortable and homely, situated perfectly for local amenities and lovely walks. A delightful place to stay will return in the near future. Thank you David and Alison.

D & S Richardson, Northallerton,

Lovely little cottage, well-equipped and Clark's Yard was an unexpected haven of calm in the centre of Whitby. The outside seating area was a very pleasant bonus.

Mrs Clark, Lincoln,

Cosy, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Our stay was great with everything we needed and the courtyard for sitting outside with a glass of wine was a bonus. Location of the house was excellent for shops and restaurants. Whilst it was a walk to park the car in a parking zone it was not a problem. The new shower and refurbished bathroom was lovely.

Catherine, Wakefield,

A lovely cosy cottage and perfectly situated. Felt like a quiet hideaway but just yards from the heart of the town. Close to all shops, caf├ęs and restaurants. Nice and clean and had everything we needed. Extremely helpful owner and the welcome pack was a lovely surprise.

Mr Clegg, Rossendale,

Very central position yet private and tucked away.

Mr Anderson, Rugby,

Lovely quirky little cottage in a central position. It was a delight to stay here and we would love to stay again! Biscuits and wine waiting for us on arrival was a special touch

Our second stay in this lovely, quirky cottage and it didn't disappoint. Clarks Yard is a fantastic holiday location and accommodation - please don't ever change it!

Fantastic cottage, loved our stay here, would come back in a heartbeat. Will be back in the very near future.

Mark & Julie, Doncaster,

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Whitby. Your cottage has been a wonderful home for us and, due to the overwhelming heat, the use of your garden has been perfect. I would love to come back one day.

Carol & Jane, Dorset & Hampshire,

Wonderful stay in your cottage. We have been coming to Whitby for decades but never stayed in such a lovely place...and in such a fantastic location. Will definitely recommend to friends and family and come back ourselves.
